Comparing two e-commerce websites

In this post I will compare two e-commerce websites. I chose to describe two sports nutrition websites, Myprotein and Veloforte.

(Myprotein)

Both websites has all standard online shop features such as, search bar, assortment, login options, copyrights, basket, overseas delivery options, cookie rights, contact information and so on. However, in Myprotein website costumer can change language, but Veloforte is available only in English language. Also, Velolofarte does not advertise deals as much as Myprotein, they chose to firstly describe their products. In Myprotein website every icon is explained, and users do not have to guess or spend extra time to find a search bar, for example. As you can see in the photo below, Veloforte chose minimal style, icons without description, overall, harder to orientate in their website.

(Veloforte)

At the end of the homepage both websites chose to display their costumer ratings.

(Myprotein)

(Veloforte)

In Myprotein website this Trustpilot icon will take costumer to Trustpilot website, where they can read reviews. In Veloforte, name of review section is "Real Reviews From Real Customers" which already sounds suspicious.

Overall, both websites are with similar features and rich product description Myprotein website is easier to use as it is worlds leading sports nutrition brand, and they have to make their e-commerce site understandable and comfortable for users. However, Veloforte main focus is to deliver information about the product and brand.
