Title tag is one of the most important elements, it is written in the <head> of the webpage. Title tag helps searcher see if the page will answer aim of the search. Therefore, Title tag must be accurate and describe the pages content.

Meta description tag by itself is not a ranking factor, however, if keywords match search query, it will appear in bold, what will make your page stand out. To choose the best keywords it could be useful to conduct a research on what highest ranked competition webpages has written in their description tag.

Robots meta tag and nofollow attributes can overall make your webpage look better in searcher eyes, even if you have some page with thin content or in a draft stage, it is better to hide it from SERP (search engine results page) until it is optimized.

Meta viewport tag will allow you to control how the webpage will be displayed on the device.  Usually it would look like this: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"/>. "Width=device-width”, instruction will make the page match devices width and  "initial-scale=1", will include screens orientation too.

Image Alt attributes provide context to a image as search engine cannot "look" at the images and in e-commerce website images are one of the ways how to grab a costumers attention.

The rel=”canonical” link tag is the way how you can tell search engine which is your main version of the page, in case, if the duplicate page is available under different URLs, or when there are multiple pages for one subject.

Header tags are used to recognise headings and subheadings from the rest of the text. It is important for SEO and for users as organised texts are easier to read.

Schema markup is a technique used to organise data on the webpage. It helps SEO to read and understand relation to words.

Social media meta tag allows you to control how your webpage will look on social media. Beginners might not need to use all of the Meta tags mentioned above, but it is essential to boost your rank as user number increases.
